WHAT IS OQUAKE
OQUAKE is a heavily modified build of vkQuake — the premier Vulkan-based Quake port — reimagined as a living node in the OASIS Omniverse. Every player session is anchored to a shared, sovereign identity layer: your OASIS Avatar carries your stats, inventory, karma and NFT achievements across every game in the ecosystem.
Integration runs deep via OGEngine and the WEB5 STAR API. Weapons, armour and powerups aren't just spawned procedurally — they're physically anchored to real-world GPS coordinates in parks and public spaces. You must go there to collect them.
Items collected in the real world persist in your shared OASIS Inventory and can be used across multiple games in the Omniverse, traded as NFTs or carried into cross-game quests managed by OGEngine. When you frag an opponent, karma flows. When you complete a quest, an NFT trophy is minted.
The Vulkan render path (via vkQuake) ensures buttery-smooth framerates even at extreme resolutions, giving competitive players a genuine hardware advantage while the OASIS layer keeps every match connected, recorded and rewarded.

Weapon spawns are GPS-anchored to parks, public squares and open spaces worldwide. Open the OQUAKE companion app, follow the signal, reach the location — and the weapon is yours. Rocket launchers, railguns and plasma rifles are waiting in the wild.
Scatter across your local parks are shards of yellow and red armour, mega-health packs and quad-damage powerups. Each has a physical GPS coordinate. Collect them, stack them in your OASIS Inventory, and deploy them when the arena gets hot.
AR arena combat will overlay live OQUAKE matches directly onto real physical parks. Opponents appear as AR projections, weapons glow in the grass, and the arena boundary follows the park fence. The ultimate blur of digital and physical.
